Thursday's Thoughts!

Thursdays are just hard days for me to think about.  Why?  Who knows?  Maybe, my brain is so fogged and tired by this day, that I just want to think about nothing! Ha!  I do have a couple of random things going around in my head, so sit back, buckle up, and hang on!!

1.  I am having so much fun with Aimie being home!  She fixed supper tonight, and even though I get to clean up her mess, I didn't have to make supper, or serve it either!  Love this kid!

 2.  The scenery around our house is Ahhhmazing!!  It truly makes me appreciate God and his gift of nature to us.  Gary and I were going to town the other day and there by the fence of a favorite neighbor was a sweet little fawn!  It couldn't have been much more than a week old.  I made asked Gary to turn around so I could take a picture - Enjoy!!!

3.  I am reading the book "The Fault in Our Stars", it's just one that I feel I kind of need to take my time on, so I'm not getting through it as quickly as I would like.

4.  My principal came into my classroom today and handed me an envelope addressed to Student, Aimie Simmers.  It was crazy, because Aimie has been out of HS for a year now, and it was addressed to the Elementary???  When I got home, I showed Aimie, and she said, "We wrote letters to practice that skill and I chose this guy because his name was different!"  Come to find out, the letters were written during their 5th grade year!  The letter was just recently postmarked, so we have had great fun out of this!

5.  Last thing for the evening.  Everyone who knows me, knows I am NOT a morning person.  Summer school is really kicking my tail with the hours we chose to go this year (7:30 - 4:00, I know, right?); however, we do get a 4 day weekend starting tomorrow!!!   I am having a good time, but will be so glad when it's over.  Those days are Loooooooongggg!!!
