To relax, and work on something I want to do, I decided to learn to knit. Go ahead, laugh, tell your old lady jokes, I DON'T CARE! Ha! A friend of mine opened a yarn shop in Cape, and when she made the announcement, I asked if she would give lessons. My first lesson was last Wednesday. I will admit I got very frustrated with myself, but after I talked myself down, and told myself this was supposed to be relaxing, everything just came together! I LOVE IT!! For my next lesson, I will learn how to end the project, and take it off the needles! I will then start another real project!!! GO ME!!

This is the start (well, after the original got frogged!)

The Wedding is in just a little over a week! ARRGGGHHHH!!! Am I ready? I feel awfully calm about this! What if? Yes, those questions have gone around in my head, but really I do feel good about this! I actually thought about sending out a birth announcement! I'm very excited to have this sweet girl added to my family. I really hope she can look at me and love me the same way I love my MIL! I know I will never be the MIL Betty (Gary's momma) is, but oh, I hope I can be half as good! I really hope I have conveyed to Ashley that she is my daughter, not just by marriage!
Ok, I've rambled enough. Thanks for stopping by! Happy Thursday!

By the way, I'm working in my classroom tomorrow! WooHoo! Pics to come at a later date!
