Friday I had a PD day (which was awesome)! After that I came home, packed a bag, and when Gary got home, we left for St. Louis. We spent the night, and got up Saturday morning (yes, on a Saturday) at 6:00am to be at Krispy Kreme to pick up 219 dozen donuts for my Jr. Beta Club! Whew! This was an "off" year, as we usually sell close to, or over 300 dozen. Usually takes 2 vehicles, and I am on such a sugar high from smelling them, I don't come down for two weeks! Ha!
Saturday evening, one of my "other sons" got married, so we went to help celebrate. Michael and his "twin friends" have been buddies since 1st grade. Pretty much inseparable, and now Dylan has Jory (cute, adorable little boy) and Derrick got married to Katie. Kinda gives me that sad, I'm getting old, kind of feeling. Jory calls Michael "Uncle Michael" and loves him to pieces (the feeling is quite mutual). It was kind of neat to see Michael carrying Jory around. One of these days, but for now, I'm ok being just mom.
Ok, so this really is just a cute saying that will be put up in my house! Ha!
Aimie came home on her crutches (yes, it's as scary as it sounds). Ashley (my DIL) and I met Aimie in Cape to stock her up on "necessities". We went to Sam's Club at one point, and Aimie decided to ride the scooter. I told her I didn't know which was worse, my 85 year old mother on one of those, or her! At one point, she needed to "back up". Before she started, she said, "Does this thing", and as she said "beep", it stared beeping when she went into reverse. She quickly put it in forward, and said, "I am NOT backing up since this thing beeps!" Ashley and I were laughing so hard! I had such a fun time with those two girls!
Enjoy the clip! Aimie is going to probably want to wring my neck! Love ya kiddo!
Thanks for stopping by!
Sharon
